My 2yr old bitch just recently started developing elbow soars. I have cow mat in her cage and she is basically an inside dog, not sure if she is getting it from the carpet? I was wondering if there is anything I can do to prevent it from getting worse or at all? Thanks
I have the same problem with my dog, since she isn't a big chewer I gave her old bed pillows of mine for her cage. She was used to sleeping on a dog bed when she was out of her crate until my puppy ate that. She loves her crate so much that she lays in there even if it's open. Her elbows weren't bad when she used her dog bed, so you might want to try something like that or even an old comforter. hth
