It's actually a pretty good pic, considering I know what's it's like to never catch my 4 mo old pup at a standstill. He doesn't even give the camera time to focus. Sure have missed some wonderful shots cause of that!
Your pup is beautiful and sturdy looking.
ADORABLE!!! I love Rotts; especially nice, solid ones like yours <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Now I want to show off my pup; How do I put a photo up?
Kristel, upload your pup's pic on a website such as photobucket , copy the uploaded pic's url (you'll see it right below the pic), and then post a message here, click on "Image", paste the pic's url and you're done.
BTW, thanks Sandy and Kristel for your comments on my pup. It's good to know there are Rott people in here too.
Another thing, when I tried to access this thread from the "Active Topics" section I ended up in a thread about Martial Arts. Is it just me having this problem or is it a website bug or something?

I've also noticed that sometimes clicking on a thread gets you some other thread, and noticed that the number of the thread address is wrong, carries the number of some other thread, so you end up there instead. It seems to fix itself after a while, not sure how or if someone fixes it.
Actually, I'm a German Shepherd fanatic <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />, but I've been around a couple of Rotts and lived a while with a Doberman (who I had to give CPR to once). It's easy to see beautiful strong bones on a pup. One thing I noticed with both Rotts I knew, they seemed overweight. And others I've seen around seem the same way. Was wondering if this is just owner feeding too much, or if they are prone to this and it's hard to control their weight? Do you know?
Oh man; it's huge <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> I hope it doesn't exceed the limit <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> This is my pup "Murphy" at four months <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Another solid sturdy looking pup! Just love those big boned dogs! He's beautiful <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
Thanks Sandy! He's one we "made ourselves" <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> In our area there seems to be a lot of "Kate Moss" Dobes with nervous temperaments; we strive for the opposite <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> This little guy is my heart and soul.... <img src="http://www.leerburg.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
