Our K-9 Unit is looking to buy a used suit. As we have no funds to buy a new one a used training suit would be GREAT! The suit the unit has is from 1985...nuff said....
Please let me know brand and price. No Harddog, Ray Allen or junk. Would love to get the Belgian suits that Ed sells or a Demanet.
Also...looking for a grant writer to help us with some major needs for the unit. Anyone who can help???
Do you have a local all breed AKC club in your area? I am on the board of the local AKC club and we were contacted by the local sheriff's office to see if we would be willing to give them a donation to buy a K9 insert for a new K9 patrol car.
Our club ended up purchasing the insert and giving an additional 500.00 towards an officer who was in the process of getting a K9. Worked out well for both entities, the SO got money and the insert and our club got good PR at our local all breed show. Many of these all breed AKC clubs support community dog interests as they are often non-profit clubs and can rake in quite a bit of cash during their shows (which means they need to make donations to keep kosher with the IRS).
