Since getting my new pup, I have lots of questions that I'm pretty sure have already been covered here. But for some reason, for the past few weeks I've been having a problem getting the search feature to give up any info. Anyone else have this?
I have tried but "In subject" and "In subject and body." I have tried "Newer than 5 years" as well as "Older than 1 day." It keeps telling me that there are no search results for things that I KNOW there are results for...like neutering and seperation anxiety.
I didn't have this problem before the upgrade, could that be it?
PS-Sorry if I post questions that have answers somewhere on this board...not sure what else to do.
Did you make sure you have all forums selected rather than a very specific one like "schutzhund" or "drive, focus, and grip?" It is working for me, I just used it a few minutes ago.
I lied. I thought that's what the problem was because I saw that it was set to General Dog Conversation. But then I switched it, put in "separation anxiety" and got only 2 responses, neither of which were anything about separation anxiety. Grrrr.
I searched this: "separation anxiety" in "all forums" with a range of "newer than 10 years" and I ended up with eight pages. I wish I could send you the link but the new board programming does not allow for that to happen.
I wrote a detailed step-by-step guide to using the search function a while ago - it might be worth your timing looking it up.
Should I use the search function to look it up? I actually think I've figured it out...a problem with my keyboard. My son spilled something on the down arrow and it's been glitchy. I think it's pulling down the forum's list from "all forums" to what's below it.
