Parvo Every now and then you hear of breeders or pets getting it. I know cause it happened to me last year. I let me guard down and 3000+ later I learned. But since then I have had some trouble with how to fight and treat my up coming litter.
I had a vet from a company tell me that I need to over ride mom immune and start shots at 3 weeks and EVERY week until 14 weeks Hell I might as well not even have a litter the poor puppies immune would be shot then. I can not even think of doing that.
I have read a lot of typics on this from this board but want to know since I have had it "Parvo" would I treat any different? and what would be the best shot on the market? I have been told
neopar? I have been raised with intervet.
My next question is when I found out that I had parvo we "BLEACHED". I have dirt runs so we dumped bleach water in all the kennels and were the puppies were. But have been told that I can still have the virus in my yard. What can I do to protect my puppies? Bleach is so hash and since I have dirt runs it takes days for them to dry completely. Thus I am limited to doing kennels first crating the dogs for days then the yards and they are kenneled for days Just not fair to them but I want to be sure I am doing everything I can to fight and protect my pups.
