My vet does most of the x-rays for certification in this area (Vancouver). People also come to him from the U.S. and other provinces. He has kept his own stats on the x-rays etc. He usued to recommend the place in California that certified at a year of age. (they recently went under OFA's umbrella) BUT...after looking at his own stats he no longer recommends certifying/x-raying before 18 months of age (hasn't seen any difference between 18 months and 2 yrs). He said he has seen FAR too many changes in the hips at a year of age vs. 18 months. Some get way better, some get worse.
