We had roast beef the other night and we poured the gravy on top. LOved it! anything out there that might be good to pour on top? I saw something that IAMS makes called Beef Gravy? Looked like nothing in it that would hurt, but thought that I would ask the experts first... Any ideas?

Kelly Kovar Webboard User Reg: 12-19-2006 Posts: 35 Loc: Offline	COnnie, I wouldnt say that he is reluctant to eat his food... most of the time, he will take a while and sniff around, look up at me, contemplate if he really wants to eat... yet he does finally eat. And eats it all at that. Just the other night when I poured the gravy on top, he loved it. I feed him Kibble and Bits.... Kidding! eww, made some people mad! tee hee. I feed all natural, chicken, beef venison, egg, veggies, etc... I just wondered if there was something out there that he might enjoy pured on top as a little added flavour.

But if they were picky, I'd probably up the exercise or throw a little plain natural yogurt on top. They love yogurt. BTW, beef gravy --- I'm sure my dogs would LOVE that, and I'd have no hesitation about letting them have some. They would probably do the dishes for me if I gave them that.

Maybe taking your dogs for a walk might work best

Never gave much thought to this topic... my shepherds are pretty piggy when it comes to food (raw-fed of course). When they are reluctant to eat, it's usually because they're getting too much food and not enough exercise. (The scale always confirms this - I do my best to keep them thin). Maybe your dog's just telling you that he's getting fat and just isn't hungry, hee hee

Don't know cause as far as liver goes my dogs all 4 will eat it like it was the last meal, I don't need any gravy that's for sure.A good exercised dog will never refuse his food, seriously.
