My husband is always trying to get me to go shooting with him, so that later on I can carry a gun but I'm not ready for that yet.I can see the benefit for sure.

Sad thing is, I don't think anyone can fight off two crazy pitbulls, and if you happen to be armed, your instincts have to be very sharp to draw your weapon (hopefully it's armed), remove safety, aim and shoot at least one of the dogs in the 3 second time frame it takes for them to get you.
