my youngest GSD zena just got her last set of puppy shots on saturday morning. she was fine the rest of the day on saturday and on sunday. but, today she has had 2 very watery yellow stools (no blood and no mucus). i called the vet and they said just to keep an eye on her, make sure she gets lots of fluid, keep her calm, and if she starts to vomit then bring her in.
i know ed frawley and a lot of others are against vaccinations, but is this common?
we've vaccinated all of our dogs in the past and have never had a problem.
You just learned a valuable lesson on vaccinations. Why do you think I no longer give a series of vaccinations to my dogs? For this very reason, plus allergy problems, cancer problems, thyroid problems, pancreous problems - all related to OVER VACCINATION. Read the book I sell titled WHAT VETS DONT TELL YOU ABOUT VACCINATION. Then tell me if you still want to vaccinate your dog on the yearly MAKE YOUR VET RICH plan.
Here in Texas the Dept. of Health is FINALLY considering allowing the 3 year rabies vaccine rather than the current yearly one that is required.
A local veterinarian here is also doing what he can to stop other vaccines from being administered on a yearly basis...big news for us...made front page of the Houston Chronicle today. Fingers crossed hoping for a change!!
I've had problems (that are now permanent) with Auster because of vaccines. She will only be getting as few vaccines as possible for the rest of her life.
