this is the second morning now bruno has been sick, t happened at arond 5 43 yesterday morning and today at 8 30?
Yesterday it was brown and watery and had loads of grass in it, that was mostly what it was.
Today it was the exact same but without the grass.
I dont thin k i should be concernerd over the medication because he has that around six and the drugs have plenty of time to take affect if he is ever sick.
is this anything to worry about??? im thinking its due to him not being well since his op, infection wise, but i have changed his food but i again feed him between 5-6 so its a bit late if its this reason isnt it?

My Dog was often sick in the mornings for a while, mainly due to him being hungry I had been told.
The dog may be eating grass to settle the stomach of something it doesn't like. I think a lot of dogs do this and they certainly do it in the wild.
Is the sick color actually brown or is it more yellowish brown?
The stuff my dog hoched up was either white saliva like sick or yellowish bile (stomoch acid/lining) type sick
What Meds is the dog on? If it is actually brown then it could be that there is some blood in there.
In any event it might be a better idea to have a word with your vet and take a sample of the sick if your not sure what it is.

You said you changed his food...did you do this recently and suddenly? A diet change can cause stomach upset in dogs. Changing it while his body is already undergoing surgery, infection, medication and healing might not be the best idea.
The meds alone could be causing this stomach upset. Unless it specifically tells you otherwise, I wouldn't give the meds on an empty stomach.

Toni this is a puzzling post...how would we know if your vet is open during the weekend? There comes a point where you cannot and should not rely on posting your questions here. No one can tell you more plainly than Amber did...
CALL YOUR VET!!
And if they don't answer call another and another and another until you find someone who is open and can evaluate your dog.

the vet just wants me to bring him in keep him there and monitor him? well thats what i am already doing.
i cant afford the bills just to take him where he will go crackers because he terrified of people, and plus i already doing what they want to do.
I am going to stop feeding wet meat for few days see if this is causing it? it dawned on me last night that he has been drinking out of the pond, there is an disease in there killing the fish so this might be the source also, so i fence it off now, see what happens, i just experiment till i find it.
the vets have agreed this is the best solution also, they dont think it is down to his op but if he had an infection this may also be the source?
i will call them again tomorrow and tell them if he been sick again and probably take in a sample

Toni, the point of a vet monitoring your dog as opposed to you monitoring him is that the vet has the medical knowledge, experience and supplies to take care of your dog that you just don't have. If you feel your vet is overreacting, then you should seek another vet. You cannot diagnose/treat your dog through an internet webboard, Toni.

Toni...if he picked up something from the pond that has been making him sick for days, then putting a fence up won't kill what's already in him! Again, I say, bring your dog to the vet!
Here are some cold hard facts:
You have two dogs: One has been neutered, gotten an infection, medicated, had his food changed suddenly, been drinking possibly contaminated water, and has now been throwing up for days. His weakened system is being attacked from all sides, as far as I can see. I don't think it's unreasonable, given all of this information, for a vet to think your dog should be monitored at their office. You are clearly not qualified to treat or even diagnose your dog. How can I put this more clearly?? By denying him treatment, he may die.
I appreciate that you care enough about your dog's to have joined this board and ask questions, but you are ignoring the answer...ONE answer and it is VET VET VET.
I understand that you are short of money. I've been there, I can relate. But a HUGE part of responsible dog ownership is making sure your dog has proper medical treatment. You can't afford to take care of one dog, so why do you have two?
If you can't afford basic medical treatment for your dog, then you may have to consider finding him another home, or see if someone can take him until you're on more solid financial ground. It's not fair to the dog, Toni. I am writing all of this to you because I feel very sorry for your dog and I'm hoping that if I'm very blunt with you, you'll give him the treatment he deserves...even if that means giving him up.
I'm sorry to be so harsh, Toni, I really am. But if you love your dog...give him the help that he needs, whatever that takes. I wasn't going to post this...but I would feel terrible if I kept silent and your next post was to tell us that your dog died.
