When he alerts to something and goes to investigate, he huffs allot. I don't think he's out of breathe, it seems as if he's warning whatever may be around that he's coming or maybe a show of power or "no fear" or something. Last night we were in the yard and I heard large animals moving in the woods. He came trotting around huffing with every step and running all around. Very attentive, head up, it was pretty cool, I just wonder what is he doing or what does it mean. DZ
