Offline	What is the best tick control.We have used the stuff you put on their backs but it seems to cause skin conditions .One shepard I had t hot spots in the area.Wev'e used 7 dust but don't like the idea of putting posion all over my dogs.The same thing with dipping.any comments much appreciated.

I'm sorry, I don't remember the brand. I know we got it at the grocery store, so it may have been Hartz Mountain or one of those. I now use Frontline that's put on the dog's back but if my dog had problems with that I'd use a collar again.

Maybe I'll try thecollars But if collars work they must be pretty potent.Has anybody heard of garlic.I know a hunter told me of this but I swear I read somwhere that garlic is bad for dogs.What about ivomec for heartworms since you would treat every 45 days would that stop tick problems
