Anyway I had a question;
I just purchased a puppy for Search and Rescue work from a breeder who bought him from Mickalobe Shepherds. He is out of Bastin Vom Haus Legends and Willa Von Mickalobe. He does have wonderful drive and focus. I can elaborate further on pedigrees if necessary.
Has anyone heard anything about this kennel or these dogs? They seem to have good working lineage but I am only going from what I have found on the web. This is my first working line dog.

I have not heard of this kennel before. You may want to add the pedigrees. There are great people on this board that know lineage well and I am sure they can help you.

Hi Clara, I am into schutzhund, not search & rescue. As far as a working dog, this pup has a really nice pedigree. I would expect this pup to have super drives and be a great working prospect. I imagine the pup is a lot of fun and full of piss & vinegar!
I have a few Hall of Fame videos of a few dogs on your sire and dam pedigree, so many nice dogs! Great pedigree.Like Susan said you have a pup that has what it takes and I am sure your pup is showing you everyday what a great working line is made of!

Yes, That is the kennel that owns the mother and father. She is not far from where I live and most of us german shepherd people around here either know one another or know of one another

I just want to get some background on my puppy and where he came from. He seems to be a good working dog candidate. I do know that some breeders tend to get a few good dogs in a line and then throw litters without putting titles on the younger dogs. For instance, I know of Bastin v Kolketal and the Antverpa, Kathargo and Leerburg lineage, but I don't know what was acomplished with my puppy's immediate sire and dam. That is what I am hoping someone might know. Sorry if I wasn't as clear as I should have been....
