This is the deaf pit-bull that brought me to this site. She was a pound resuce and currently in training and doing very well. Her trick is to not make eye contact when she doesn't want to listen so of course that is the first thing we are working on. It is sad how many deaf and other genetically screwed up dogs there are out there because of backyard breeders . . .
The board says one picture has to be of me so the other one is of me although not with a dog - sorry I don't have one with me and a dog in both - that is a Harris Hawk that I fly for falconry. Hope this doesn't violate a board rule...
Sadie is currently in training with someone Ed knows so I'm lucky - we are using e collar with vibe. The dude in the picture was the BF that was her original owner. He had to go because he wouldn't follow "pack rules". I wish I could capture the great look on her face when she is working for her treats - with the eye spots and brown/blue eyes it has been easy for her to get what she wants out of the unsuspecting.

Kelly – and Sadie – welcome to the Board. You bring a whole new meaning to 'training' in dealing with a challenged dog. I commend your tenacity and the special bond you share!!
As far as falconry – I am totally clueless, but again, another challenge that must be breathtaking! Ah, if only I were 10, 20, 30 years younger!!
