As I thought about what I did this last weekend I remembered watching Bruno charging at me in a full sprint as I yelled at him to stop before he plowed through my freshly tilled garden. Then I remembered what I did next and wondered to what lengths do some of you go to spoil your dogs.
What did I do? I plotted my garden right up to the fence so I only had to fence off 3 sides instead of 4. Just after yelling at Bruno to stop it hit me. We plotted the garden in the way of his sprinting run when chasing trucks etc. When he stopped he seemed to hang his head as he turned and walked away. I think he may have even kicked a little dirt, dunno. The next day I started tilling another 4 rows to move the garden about 6 feet away from the perimeter fence so as not to interrupt his run/fun. It took about 2 hours to till and I still have to repair his area back to sod.
I keep my bedroom extra cool in the summer because thats where all three of our dog crates are. And yes, I crate my babies at night. Not because I want to, but because I have too. A pug, GSP and GSD cannot fit into our tiny queensize bed along with DH. Also, the dogs get tucked in a couple hours before we actually go too bed, and they have the bedroom tv on animal planet until lights out. Ohhhhhhhh......... another thing I do for the dogs........
Everytime I go too walmart, everyone gets new toys.
