I've been looking around the site trying to find some information in regard to SAR. I have reached a point in my life where I have some time and need a goal of which I am proud. Through some research, I feel my personality would match well with SAR. Does anyonehave any suggestion as to where to begin? I need to know who to contact, reputable organizations, websites, etc. I am also interested in a dog/puppy for the task. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time. Hi Cindy,
If googleing your local area for SAR organizations doesn't turn anything up then try contacting your local police force or fire rescue to see if they can give you a few names.
Of course, this is always a good place to start too.
