Dave, I give over the counter vitamin E capsules and just throw it in the food and squirt over it with salmon oil. I used to give 200 IU daily for a puppy, now am giving 400 IU daily (1 yr old dog).
I'm sure you may be able to find vitamin E capsules sold on pet internet sites, but I think the human grade is best.
I ordered the Vit E Leerburg sells because the stuff I found locally is either way too little or way too much. Some days I just find it easier to spend a little more to get the stuff that's dosed for dogs in a dog-friendly form right out of the pot so I don't have to mess with it every day
