Hi! New to the board so I thought I would introduce the pup and I before I posted anything else...

Kiba is a 9 weeks (Almost 10) old Golden Retriever. When I found him, I had gone to a pet store with my Mom (She wanted to look at the puppies).

We found Kiba and his brother in the back with some of the bigger puppies and it seemed like he immidiately bonded with us!

When we left, I got a paper to check out movie times (We went to the theater that day) and saw an ad for Golden Retrievers. I called the number and coincidently they were the same puppies in the pet store!

Well, to make a short story long, I picked him up and took him home, along with some toys and such (I admit to not being prepared for him).

Hes a great pup and hardly ever settles down, (I think he has a high 'prey drive') he seems intelligent but hes very very goofy. Here are some pics of him.

What a cute pup! You will learn a lot here on how to have a great relationship with him. Golden's are so smart! Just fyi Nathan, you may want to adjust your post so your thread doesn't get deleted. Hey Nathan, at the bottom of your post in the blue letters, it should say "Edit". If your post has been posted for x amount of minutes, you can't edit it anymore. In that case, you can pm one of the moderators to adjust it for you. Click on their name and go to "send a pm". Will Rambeau, or Connie Sutherland are usually available. Or you could just leave it. It might just stay in the thread.

Oh my gosh, what a precious ball of fluff! I could cuddle all day with a pup like that, assuming he's the cuddly kind, which my pup never was, much to my dismay

I'll have to show these pics to my son. He's always wanted a Golden.

Thank you! Yeah, I find it impossible to get him to cuddle, even after a long walk and about 20 minute play time, he still finds the need to roam! (I try not to let him though)

Ahhh, sappy brown eyes and stinky puppy breath - my idea of love!

No...to my knowledge there really isn't many around here but I haven't checked it out. Are classes worth it? Should I take him this soon?

I think I will try agility with him. Hes a mastah stair climber already! (Unfortunately for me)
