Anka has discovered the frisbee. I think it is her new favorite toy. Probably because it is the fastest moving item around.
Anyway, I am concerned with her jumping. She is 10 months old and jumps with such force. We have only played frisbee 4 times and only a few throws each time, every time she seems to want to jump more.
Anka has not jumped much prior. When she did it was never initiated by me. How can I keep her safe in jumping or should I just not play frisbee? I am keeping the frisbee low but even then she finds it more fun to hit the frisbee while she is in mid air. Even when it is low enough that she does not need to jump she does.
I just don't want her to hurt herself by letting her drive push her beyond her abilities.

That's a tough one....
I think that letting dogs "move freely" on their own is okay to a point since some seem to know their limits. Like with my pups, I let them run and jump and play since I am on soft ground (no concrete, pavement or anything like that).
However, with that said, dogs that are HIGH drive sometimes do not know when to quit so we have to quit for them.
I play fetch with my pups and sometimes I will throw the ball to them and they jump to catch it.
I don't think that a little jumping is going to hurt her, just as long as you keep it minimal and easy. Make sure she is on softer ground, grassy areas.

We are on the grass. She is just jumping with such force, that is the best way I can describe it. It is nice a fluid, not like she is falling or anything just a strong attack.
