As I said, a sad story for dogs, fuel for the raging inferno of hatred towards dogs.

Oh, that's cool. Yeah.
I don't want my friends and family being sniffed out of a collapsed building, an avalanche, or a remote location in the wilderness. God knows I would hate to have an explosive device detected on my plane when I travel, or kilos of narcotics found in the cargo ship sending my car over that I ordered.
Let's not forget all those infirm, handicapped, and blind people. They definitely don't want assistance dogs aiding them in resuming as normal a life as they can have. Obviously not.
What an awful place we live in. Gee. Dogs. I mean, they don't bring people together, give us company, and save lives. Not at all.
*eyeroll*
That guy sounds like the coyote-haters around here. Sad.
From Yahoo! news article:
"Three bull mastiffs and an English bulldog were seized by animal services", police said.
"Two of those dogs appeared to be responsible for the tragic death," said Officer Jason Lee, adding that several dogs remain at the property.
It also says that they don't know if the dogs are even what killed him, but he did have bites and scratches. They're doing an autopsy to see cause of death-could be a heart attack.
So, while he did have Filas in 2001, it was NOT Filas who did this, supposedly.
While I certainly don't wish anyone dead by heart attack, it's nice to hear he was not mauled to death by dogs. Is it even possible that they were not trying to harm him, but were overly excited/upset by his heart attack and attempted to rouse him? I'd like to think that my dogs would not bite me if I were unconscious or dead, but the woman in France who was passed out from an overdose lost her face much the same way-her dog apparently was trying to wake her and was in a frenzy.
Could the man have been running outside for help and not necessarily away from the dogs? The dogs in question are huge, there were 4 of them, the guy had been caring for them for 2 years, and none of the bites were life-threatening....maybe, just maybe, they meant no harm. I would expect to not find much left if a person was intentionally mauled by more than one Bullmastiff.
