Hey All,
Here is my newest addition. He just came home tonight.
Jiggs is a 5 month old BH that was purchased by a man wanting to do SAR but a promotion at his job does not allow him the time.
SOOOOOOO, he is with me and will be trained as a man-trailer.
Pretty cute and CLUMSY, but my old BH loves having another floppy eared dog around

He seems great and the best part is......he plays tug....even makes noise and pulls hard so I am really excited that I may have a BH with "toy" drive and maybe I will not have to use food as a reward.......BTW, he starts Raw tomorrow morning.....no more Puppy Chow......
Until The Tale of the Lioness is told, the Story will Always Glorfy the Hunter
I'm a big sucker for hounds and he is ADORABLE!! And BIG already (not just his ears!) He looks almost the same height as Max - guess I forgot how fast they grow when they're that young... What's the energy level of a 5 month old BH like?
...although to be honest I think you just took him cause he's so cute and floppy. This training excuse is probably what you tell people so they don't think you're nuts for taking on so many crazy puppies at once
And be careful not to slip on all the slobber left behind by your BHs. Haha.

Alright, I've heard of people who cover the walls of their homes in plastic tarp 7 FEET up the walls - because of their St. Bernards slobber flinging!! Is this the case with BHs too??!! I sure hope not - EEW! (BHs are WAY cuter than Saints anyway - such grossness doesn't seem like it suits them :grin
