i AM AT A LOSS. I have a 14 wk gsp who is excelent except..... She has had a problem with submisive peeing. She never has an accident other then this. I let her out only with a leash and if I can see her. I have been doing the things I was told ie.... don't lean over her, pet her head, play tug and let her win yada yada, Now she does pretty well except when it comes time to go out. She gets very submisive and pees, and won't go out. I try to make it fun when we go out, never yell, but I am getting frustrated. She goes to the vet on mmonday. I know it is only when we go out but boy can she go. Please any suggestions would help. My mop and rug shampooer is on their last leg. lol. They said do not get upset when it happens but I am losing my patience.

Tell me the routine when you take her out. Call her, snap on the leash, etc. And at what point does the peeing happen? That will help me make suggestions.
P.S. You *can* help her with this. I've had more than one rescue with submissive peeing issues, and I know it can be helped.

The reason I'm not mentioning high-value treats outside the door, using a light drag line for desensitizing, etc., is because I'd like to hear exactly at what point the peeing happens ..... clipping on the leash, moving to the door, opening the door, when?
I call her to go out, and she doesn't want to, but as soon as I kneel down to attach the leash she goes. I stopped leaning over her, but it doesn't seem to matter. I am trying to cut out the leash till we get outside. That is helping a bit, but if you call her to go out and try to attach the leash that's it. We were in the car and I tried to attach the leash before I let her out of the car and boom, she went. We are also trying to take her out every 2 hours.

OK, then, I'd get a light drag leash and keep it on her while you are doing things she likes (games or motivational OB work, high-value treats, etc.). I'd start to form an association in her mind between good stuff and the leash.
You can also leave the leash on for a while when you come in, and do something good while it's on.
(This is assuming that the leash scares her, and not that she has formed the idea that leash = potty. You are seeing avoidance, anxiety, etc., when you get the leash?)
