Just ordered Eds 'Tronic Collar pet training DVD and the Dogtra collar and looking forward to getting my two puppers really sharp. I was wondering if anybody could recommend a follow on DVD for people interested in doing dog sports, ie Sch or Agility?

I think a number of agility ppl would be horrified if I even thought of using an E collar for training, so I just won't tell them I think I'd be interested in both Sch and Agility, I got two dogs....

I got Erika and her mom Roxie, there both from Sch and Police lines. At present agility is the closest game in town and will fit my schedule. From what I've seen they have a number of things in common. Drivy psycho dogs, socially inept handlers, and a fondness of alcohol. The agility people like playskool colors, the Sch people like earth tones, in both sports the best dogs get to bite something at the end.

For some reason I thought you had 3 dogs. Well, hope you get an answer to your question. Someone at Leerburg might know, maybe even email Ed about those DVDs.

Dennis - I do agility with my GSDs also. SHhh...I do use an e-collar with my youngest to keep her focused at times as she loves to run off course. She's not ready for competition yet, just back yard and training classes.
Anywho...back to your question...I don't have any Agility DVD ideas, but I do go on YouTube and watch videos that people have uploaded on Agility. Cheap and doesn't take much time
Also, congrats on getting into agility. I can't dedicate myself to Schutzhund due to time constraints, but Agility has been a blast for my working line girls!

I got four, two are furry furniture and two come from working lines
Oh that's right, I remember now that it's 4. Just glad you're not down to 2 dogs, was hoping all was well.
Did you check Ed's site for SchH training DVDs, see if any mention an e-collar? I know he has one for agility, but don't know if it includes e-collar use.

I'm reviewing Ed's E Collar training for pets and I must say the equipment section time stamp 6:45, Ed gives a most excellent demonstration of the electric collar
