I'm new to Dutch Shepherds. We've had our girl for almost a year and she's about 15 months old. She only weigh's about 45 lbs and of course, is very, very, active. I understand FCI dutches are smaller than the KNPV lines. What is a typical weight for a 15 month old female? She is not papered, so I'm not sure which blood line she is. I must say she is very intelligent and affectionate, and a "little devil" at the same time. She's been a lot of fun. We're doing both obediance and agility training with her and she's doing very well.
One time we did a hold & guard with the helper in the middle and 2 neutral people standing to either side. She did the hold & guard on one of the neutral people instead of the helper, and her comment was "I never thought I'd be scared of that lil girl until now!".

My Fred is coming up to 11 months old and he weighs 70lb i have not taken his height yet will try to at the Training Club tonight
Generally i have found the Dutch Bred Shepherds to be bigger than the Belgian Bred Shepherds. I do not think Fred will get any taller but he will fill out
Steve, I believe the original poster was referring to the BREED "Dutch Shepherd", they are like Malinois but brindle in color. Your boy Fred is a German Shepherd bred in Holland
My dutchie (male 29 mos) is about 26in and 75-80lbs. He is my second dutchie (unless you count all of the rescues) and the biggest one I've had. Ali (his older sister) was 22in and about 55-60lbs.
A tired dog is a good dog, a trained dog is a better dog.
