and it was pretty tasty! A little dry, perhaps, but not bad at all. Ha ha! I had to try it - it was one of the Peanut Butter and Molasses ones, and since I knew all the ingredients were stuff I'd eat, I gave it a shot. Curiousity killed the cat. So you can all rest assured that your dog treats are fairly palatable. LMAO. (Sorry - I'm in a crazy mood today. The kids are slowing driving me insane.....). LOL
Boy that's good to know! Have the kids tried them yet? If they like them then they must be reeealy tasty.
I bet they're better than some of those people energy bars. LOL

I have also tasted the ones from Trader Joe's.
Kinda hard, but definitely not disgusting. Let's just say that they are NOT on the green tripe level.
On a slightly sad, but still funny aside...my grandfather, who passed away when I was 5, suffered from Alzheimer's(we know now but didn't then)and was always getting into things and doing things he shouldn't like walking off in the middle of the night in his pj's. This was made worse by the fact that he was a Southern Baptist preacher(retired by this time)and was very well known and respected in the community. One day he opened a package of those dog "hamburger patties" looking things and cooked it like a hamburger and ate it before anyone knew any different.
My grandmother just about had a heart attack when it finally dawned on her what he had done. She started screaming and asking him if he was ok. He didn't know what he'd done...after they explained it to him, he laughed about it and said it tasted pretty good
Thankfully, Brenna eats the same food that I do...probably better, actually
