Anybody use this? Looks like a very easy way to get green tripe: http://www.tripett.com
I've seen this offered on a few online pet supply sites.
We just got a 1 year old Lab that I'd like to put on the raw diet, and have read that some enzyme help might be necessary. From what I gather green tripe is good for this.
I was thinking of chicken backs to start with some tripe thrown in to help the digestion, perhaps 5% of the food by weight?
Anybody have tripe as a daily part of the dogs diet? If so, what proportion is a good place to start?
After a week or two I'd start throwing in some cow hearts for muscle meat, but again tripe once a day from the above tripett. If this is not a good idea for some reason I'd like to know.
Otherwise, what's a good enzyme supplement to ease the transition from kibble to raw?
