Macy has the most disgusting burps in the world. Really. I don't know if they became disgusting after we started her on raw or if they were always gross, but they are...unholy. Foul.

Is this common? :p
Only briefly, like the farting after the switch.
She should not, once she is used to the diet change. How long has it been?
My two youngest (9mos & 19mos) have been raw-fed since birth - since even before they were born actually, as their parents were raw-fed - and they still burp from time to time.
Yes the smell is offensive, I just learned to hold my breath when I hear them burp :-)
I'd say it's wishful thinking to try and totally eliminate a dog's burps/farts, no matter what their diet is.
Good point Connie, I should have been clearer in my post.
David, how often does she burp? Can you isolate any cause to it? As in, inhaling a meal or a particular type of food?
If it's just the occasional burp, I wouldn't worry about it (even if it smells "unholy" LOL). If it's very frequent and you haven't recently added anything too weird to her diet, then by all means let's discuss it in great detail to see if something's up with her

Hahaha. Thanks Yuko, I totally feel wanted! Whew, christmas madness.
She burps once or twice every few hours, and if she burps and I walk past the room that her crate is in...I know about it. She's eating dinner right now and I just caught a whiff, usually she'll just be sitting there, I'll see her stomach go in and I'll hear her, so I can hold my breath. But sometimes...anyway, yeah.
She's been on raw for...over 3 months? Quite some time. I mean, it's not like I can't live with the smell, just wanted to make sure it wasn't a symptom of some greater problem. It really is a horrific scent. I wish I could bottle it for you guys. It's...pungent.
