When starting the salmon oil should I give the full amount right away or introduce a little at a time (I also supplement with E) I noticed Zeus stools were a little loose and wondered if it was to much at once.

Extra fat does loosen the stools of some dogs unless it's added gradually.
So I usually start with a gram (1000 mg) per twenty pounds of dog and work up to a gram per ten pounds of dog.

I have searched that site now, and unfortunately cannot find dosage instructions on the site.
Is there any chance it said 2 grams per twenty pounds?
OK, I found the dosage on another site that sells it. You are correct.
I called the 800 number, but they were closed at the moment.
It looks like pure fish oil, but that is not a normal dose for pure fish oil. So I want to ask whether (1) it is somehow a diluted product, or (2) what they base that dosage on, if not.
Two teaspoons is 9.5 grams (approximately)..... that are saying about 5 grams per ten pounds of dog weight! What you will often see recommended is a gram per twenty pounds of dog weight; I personally (and others) prefer a gram per ten pounds of dog weight.
But 5 grams per ten pounds of dog weight -- I'm taken aback. I will email the company and also do a web and book search for anyone anywhere who backs up that dosage.
Meanwhile, I am not a health professional, so you might wish to call your vet and ask about this, but I would not continue that dosage until it's authoritatively confirmed.
Thanks for checking, I have no problem cutting back till I find out. Did seem like alot that's why I was asking and we already cut the dosage in half to introduce and his stools already look better. Thanks again
