About 5 weeks ago I got a new addtion to my family from our local shelter. An Australian blue heeler X pup. She is around 13 weeks now and has developed spots of hair loss in the past week. I suspected demodex and it was confirmed at the vet. They did a Mitaban dip on her , however,my preference, if there is such a thing or it is possible, would be something natural or that is not so toxic. I will not do ivermectin as it is not recommended for either pups or heerding breeds. Does anyone have any suggestions ?? I'm supposed to take her back in 2 weeks. She is on a raw diet- transitioning from her former food at the shelter. Thanks
thanks - I thought I remembered reading that but couldn't locate it. I have it saved for sure now !!!! Going to the store tonight. Once again , thank you!! I'll post pics once we look more presentable.
