I have a 12yr old male and a 3yr old female German Shorthaired Pointers. I also have a working Police K-9 4 yr old Mal. The dog may have an allergy to different grains. I wouldn't rely on the fish oils in any kibble to take the place of a pure salmon oil such as Grizzly http://www.leerburg.com/47.htm . When feeding salmon oil, which you can squirt right over the dog's food, you should also give vitamin E. I just thought the fish formula would just add some more! Does ayone know what formula would have the least probablity of producing allergies?? Also would 34% protein be too much for a 12yr old German Shorthaired Pointer??
