Hi schutzund trainers
please can anyone tell me how long will it take a normal dogs to really understand tracking, obedience and the protection training; to enable him to gain the sch1 title.

That is an impossible question. It depends on the dog's maturity, the amount of work that has been done with him, and the dogs ability.(and the trainers/helpers ability) Most dogs that are worked regularly and have good foundation work get a title by the time they are around 2 - 3 years. If you have unlimited time to train and more experience then you can easily put a SchH III on a good dog by age 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 years.
Why do you ask? Do you have a dog that you want to train?
VanCamp is right, too many variables. A good idea for getting a fair idea on how long it might take with your specific dog is to visit as many dog sport clubs as possible for an evaluation. Most clubs will do this for free as long as you explain to the TD that you are trying to see what potential your dog has and for what sport he / she might be best suited.
