I'm getting my 28 month old GSD females hips x-rayed again and sending the x-ray into the OFA.
Her father has Fair hips and Normal elbows.
Her mom...I'll never know
I've seen reasons to have Tash's hips x-rayed for possible HD
Now when we go to Tasha's grandparents her fathers sire has Degenerative Joint Disease I Unilateral Right. Do I need to worry about possible elbow problems too? When I have the money should I have Tash's elbows x-rayed also?
Back when I went way way way into Tash's pedigree -I filled up a 3-subject notebook with dogs form Tash's pedigree- I've found nost of the dogs have Fairs for hips. Does this mean Tasha has a great chance of having Fair hips or worse?
I know some had elbow problems also, is that another thing I need to worry about?
AS you can tell I didn't do much reasearch of Tash's lines before I got her. My first dog, I rushed it but I don't want to reverse what I did, I love Tasha even with all of her problems lol
