From everything I've read, the dog is supposed to wear the e-collar for a couple of weeks so that he won't become "collar savvy". We do not have an e-collar yet. The seminar is just 2 weeks away. Any suggestions or thoughts on that?

We will be using the collar as a neutral stimulus in the teaching phase so the dog does not have to acclimate to the collar. You will be instructed on how to make sure the dog does not become "collar savvy" (only listening when the collar is on.) During the workshop, you will learn about drives, tempermant, command and pack behavior, and how to effectively communicate with your dog. The seminar is open to people and dogs of all disiplines and we will be dealing with all issues. I will email a contact number for you to register. I looking forward to meeting you Diane!!
