I'm throwing out tons of beef fat & poultry skin. How much fat should be given in a raw diet?
How about the blood that goes to the bottom of the container after the meat thaws-should they eat that?
If these 2 questions should be in separate threads-you can move it- or tell me to...sorry.
I have a 17 yr old bc mix- & a 15 mo. old lab-pointer.

I pull off all large pieces and chunks of fat but keep poultry skin on. Some dogs are sensitive to too much fat, or any fat at all, in their diet. My dog isn't one of them so I just leave it on. I always include the blood and juice from the meat.
