First thing what are the laws in texas if anyone can tell me please give me links or what ever you have.
Second I think this puppy is only 5 weeks can I give it raw meat yet I have been giving it canned sence I brought it home about 4 hours ago. Parie canned verison.
Third what should I do rehome her after a few weeks or rehome her now she is chunky and healthy from what I can tell.
She will not get shots as long as I have her.
She looks like a german sheperd mix her coloring is the same as a GSD. She is 3 1/2 pounds. I call her puppy cause I really dont want to get to attached to her I can barely afford the ones I have at the moment. I have food and thing to feed her I did worm her already she is full of them.
Any advice I take her to animal control they put her down.
No shelters that is for sure. Sorry if this is not a right to post on the forum I just need help I have never had this happen oh I do know who did it also they have had the litter for about 5 weeks mama died about a week ago from what I am not sure.
I think they could not rehome her she had a hernia I think that is why.
To give you a idea of what she looks like
The dog in the picture on the left of ED I think that is her sje is just so much smaller of course she is a puppy
At 5 weeks old how offen should she eat.
I will be taking her to the vet tomorrow.
Is there any thing special I can do if she has a hernia or anything I should not let her do.
I would try contacting local news media. Many times they jump all over "human interest" stories like this, and airing the story will assist greatly in finding a home.
I'm sure there are laws in place to punish the culprits, but it's unlikely you'll ever be able to PROVE who did it, despite knowing who did it. Your energy is probably best spent on finding a new home for the pup.
When you say hernia, are you talking about a herniated umbilical cord/belly button? I've had two dogs with herniated belly buttons, and never any issues. When the dogs were spayed, the vets "fixed" the hernia at the same time (at about 1.5 years old).
It almost seemed like it was more of a cosmetic than medical problem, but certainly, I'd ask the vet, since I'm only speaking from past experience, and not as an expert.
Yes it is a belly button hernia.
I most likly will be calling some people tomorrow.
She is very sweet when I find the right home she will be a great dog and a big girl also.
She can eat to LOL.
I will call my local animal control as I am in real good with them. But they wil not be in tell monday. I have his cell but dont feel like it is that important to bother him when he is off.
I will get them tickets for not having rabies and not being registered.
OMG I forgot about the puppy wake up sheduale.
She is up every hour on the hour.
And we go potty and then she goes back to sleep.
Bruiser has alway slept through the night and phoenix is 16 months.
I will be tired tomorrow I have to be at the vet early an 8 to.
At least she lets me know when she has to go.
HELP ME LOL
Oh the reason m hubby is holding her like that she would not be still for nothing
