Wow, that is a tad large lol. Question- Is that in the range? Am wondering what I can predict with my puppy, although, he is 3.5 months, 35 lbs. Nonetheless, your pup is a monster!
I'm jealous. My 6 month old (female GSD) is only 48 lbs.
I understand that East German lines can sometimes take longer to grow and mature, so I'm being patient. She's lucky she has looks on her side, because she ain't much for size yet.

Average full grown size for a Male GSD is 78 pounds, 23-25" at the shoulders.
This one is West German and Czech lines. Does anyone know if they are prone to getting larger than normal? His father is 85 pounds, and his mother is 81.

Wow, she is a really good looking pup.
Yes she is a good looking pup. 78 lbs is average? Hmm.. My pup's dad is 86 I believe. Full DDR & his mom is Czech/DDR. I was thinking average size was 85 or so? Eh, I'm learning about the shepherd. What do you expect your pup to be fully grown?
Good Luck with your monster John!! Hopefully hes not a crazy spaz like my 13 month old GSD that just weighed in at 99lbs. I'll tell ya, its alot easier to deal with a 85 lb full grown dog thats trying to jump all over you than a 99 pounder that is still growing, makes a big difference but I wouldnt change a thing (I think) I believe that east german lines tend to have bigger bones/heads but I'm no expert for sure.
