I do not use it on searches since I do not want him carrying extra weight when he is working, but it works great for conditioning and just for walks too. Not sure it is exactly what you would need, but thought I'd give it a shot for ya. I enjoy it when a dog realizes how much fun splashing and playing in the water can be.
