I've been browsing the archive and either I'm really bad at searching or it has not been discussed a lot here. I'm curious as to what do you feed your dog(s).

that was fast! I will wait for Connie's answer but in the meantime, I only use the chicken formula and I believe the almonds to be only in the Quail and in the Pheasant variety.
I use to give raw organs and meat from the store too but then I got concerned with the chemicals that some of the animal we eat are exposed to (which are supposed to be broken down by cooking it). What are your thoughts on this?
I prefer getting my meat locally from the butcher store (but not everyone has that luxery). I derive a lot of satisfaction from bagging my dog's meals, and knowing exactly what is going into her bowl.
Buying from a regular butcher store also removes a lot of my concerns about the health of the animals. They don't cater solely to dogs- the meat is designed for human consumption. That has always been my biggest concern about specialty mixes. Since there are no real laws governing what goes into food designated for animals, you have no real way of knowing the quality of the meat (as you described with your organ concern.)
I feed all raw. Like Alyssa I feed RMBs, muscle meat, organ meat and veggie glop.
I prefer fresh raw over pre-made because I can vary my dogs' diet. I think it's healthier for the dogs to have a varied diet rather than the same pre-made meal. That said, going "fully" raw can be quite a bit of work. IMHO, pre-made raw is light years better than most kibbles.
If you would like to know what exactly I feed, just let me know. I'm a newbie to raw, but have learned quite a bit from the people on this site.
I personally don't mind the Primal Grinds which consist of meat, bones and organs only, they don't have any other ingredients. they are a great way to add variety to a raw diet. http://primalpetfoods.com/canine/raw_frozen_grinds.htm
Word to the wise, don't get the sardines unless you have a very strong stomach! Blech.....
I wouldn't feed any premade raw as the whole diet I feed my dogs, but they can make a nice addition especially for feeders who have a hard time finding RMBs other than chicken.
