Every now and then I see really slick dog toys - this is one of them - especially is you walk your dog at night in the dark.

Just wanted to comment on this product. By the time I get home and take my dog to the park it is very dark out. I've spent a lot of time searching for her toys in the dark when she loses sight of it. Not anymore, this toy is extremely bright for night fetch games. I have the Disco color version.

Great dog toy but a word of caution, my dog did manage to pop the button nub out of the ball. I didn't realize it was popping out and when I threw the ball the pieces from inside went flying everywhere. I think her saliva got inside the ball and made the nub slip when I threw it with my chuck it arm. Dirt comes off very easy on this ball.

I bought extra's of this because it is so cool and great for this time of year to give out to other dog owners as presents. It does turn off it you throw it hard enough (on frozen ground), but that's no big deal. I was thinking of applying silicone caulk around the nub to stop saliva from getting in so the button will still function and you can cut the caulk off to change the batteries.
