It has been recommended to me I am focusing on French Ring and this book is geared towards Schutzhund.
The description for the book states this ..
Quote:
There is no part of working dog development and training that isn't explained in this book. If you are working in any aspect of Schutzhund, K-9, Ring Sport, AKC tracking or obedience, or have plans for more advanced work in search and rescue or law enforcement, Training the Behavior has something for you.
I've found it to be a well written and focused training book, it's defninately in my top ten of SchH training books.
Unfortunately, it's packed with all my household goods so I can't grab it to give you a specific area that was helpful.....
Give me a month for the move and to unpack and I'll be able to give you an exact answer, but I can say that the book definately has a place in the book collection of any SchH trainer/handler.

Would it be worth it for French Ring though? I'm looking for general info that can transfer between the 2 sports. I do understand that it is geared more towards SchH but since there is so little written in any language let alone english about French Ring. I'm hoping to get some insight on more common handler mistakes and problems.
