Since last summer I was ready to pop(preggo), then had a c-section(9lb baby) and no chance at going camping and being comfortable, we will be taking a weeklong vacation the end of July in Montana.
We will be staying in a cabin near Deer Lodge. We'll have at least one dog with us(Shaed). Might have to be 2 (Shaed and Otto)and see if someone can watch Lily (my mom said she would if my dad'll agree) and Kayde will be staying with my mother in law (or between my grandma and my parents).
The details with Kayde will be finalized the end of May (mother in law trying to find a job closer to ND, she's in northern CA now, and it'll depend on if she's still with the same place or going somewhere new).
I'm pretty excited to get away. I love the outdoors and camping. I did tell my hubby that the next trip we take I'd like to fly somewhere (Vegas) and have some friends come with.
I don't know what all we'll be doing. I know we'll be fishing, hiking, 4x4ing, taking pics/vid., checking out ghost towns near by. But I'd like to check out other things too-what I don't know yet, but one can only handle so much fishing/driving/taking pics/hiking/whatever. Ya know?

I'd check out my husband! All of the above you can do in the years ahead with kids and a growing family while adult bonding time can become a rare commodity!

I know, but he wants to go, go, go and I want to chill out and relax and not have to do anything. I can just sit and chill or go walk around somewhere looking at stuff, and he's going 100mph. I just hope when it comes to our vaca that I won't be riding the crimson wave, cause I would like to check out my hubby! lol Maybe come home with a present for Kayde Nah, she won't get any siblings quite yet-we want to wait till Dec. at least.

We both have Nissan Xterra's and he already has a PML and 33" tires and a "cow killer" front bumper on his. He wants to pay off our vehicles and have them as "toys", and just buy a truck and car for driving purposes.
We haven't really gotten to do a whole lot of off-roading, not as much as we'd like. Been through mud holes, sand bars and snow with his. I did get the crap shook outta me while I was preggo and we were down on the sandbar south of Bismarck along the Missouri river.
We went through a whole lot of snow and drifts on the way back from Denver after seeing Metallica-Nov. 3- tried to get home the next day and we hit the first blizzard of the year! Got stuck for 2 days in a run down motel eatin' gas station food-ugh!

Nothing wrong with that!
And alas, that too becomes a rare commodity........or so I've heard.

Don't get me wrong, I like to go too. But it's getting him to stop pacing around like a nervous GSD and chill out once in a while It drives me crazy that he paces. It's when he's bored. And mostly in the winter :P

Cool!
I've got a Jeep Wrangler with a 5.5" long-arm lift and 35" tires.
I don't get to ride much. Ashley got pregnant shortly after everything was done to it. Looks good, though.
Are there lot's of good trails where you are going?

I don't know about the trails where we'll be at yet. I have to contact the NFS in that quad and see what maps we should get for ORV and hiking trails and whatever else my hubby wants. Notice I said I'd be the one calling? lol
Yeah, my hubby wants to do a lift on his X and wants to start doing stuff to mine, but I'd rather have him wait on mine till I have given birth to another child. That way I won't have to try so hard to jump up into the vehicle-I'm only 5'3" and with his lift now, his back bumper comes up to about my belly button. I looked pretty odd trying to get into his X at the end of my last pregnancy :P
