I just want to thank everyone for the multitude of advice I received here with my first year with Enoch. It's been a funny, fun, tiresome, frustrating, worrisome journey thus far and the members here have been here every step of the way.

I remember my concern with house training him. I was told to be consistent and he will eventually get it. How? I wondered. It's that simple? I lamented to you guys when he made a mistake and you again reassured me. Well today I can say Enoch is house trained. He goes to the sliding door and looks over with a look of "Let me out so I can go potty now!" My family and I did a happy dance when this first happened. He did it, we did it because of this forum and the information on this site.

Now he's one and a good dog. His imperfections are all my fault. I'm a first time trainer and my lack of knowledge in many ways I think holds him back but I am forging ahead and will continue to come here for advice, encouragement and corrections. Thanks again.

As soon as I get a picture of him I will post it. So now he's one what should I expect next?
