I just figured out Microsoft Movie Maker this weekend and did a short "movie" of Frost and I doing some obedience I thought about not posting it because my handling well...is pretty atrocious. But then I figured one videos oneself to improve so I decided I would share it warts and all! In fact, after viewing this video I went to my friend's training class last night without a dog just to work on my own footwork/body positioning.
Frost is going to be 14 months old this week and was in full blown standing heat when this was videotaped and was working at the same time as my friend's GSD male. Needless to say Rohan and Frost both were a bit distracted with each other
We both have a ways to go before we are ready for the ring be it AKC or Schutzhund but I would not trade her in for anything!
I didnt notice your footwork Ingrid because the focus and attention at 14mos from Frost is incredible.I'll bet you could earn a CD right now with any 3 day show. And I'm struggling like crazy with movie maker, by the time I figure it out I won't have any dogs to film.
Thanks all I am a pretty critical trainer, particularly when it comes to my own handling. Frost is such an exceptional dog that I do not want to have my handling errors cause her to get points off in competition so that is why I am so critical of my performance
We went out an worked on tracking this evening and she is finally get the deep nose intensity down. It took a loooonnnggg first leg to get her settle in though
