Saturday night My 11 month old Golden ate some chicken bones. We had a few friends over for a BBQ and someone put a plate with chicken bones on the ground. Of course, she comes right up and eats them without anyone noticing. Once we finally did realize what happened it was too late.
She seemed fine all day sunday. But then monday she didn't want to eat. Usually she gobbles up her food in the morning but it took her all day to finish her breakfast. There are no bloody stools and she hasn't vomited at all. She is a little lethargic, though. I called the vet and they told me to keep an eye on her. Its been 3 days. Is there anything else I can do to help her pass the bones?

It's too late now, but if this ever happens again - immediately feed the dog cotton balls (broken apart) soaked in broth. the cotton wraps around any shards and helps them pass through safely.
"That said" - the last time I had a dog eat 1/2 a cooked skeleton, the cotton came out, but no bones at all. Luckily, he digested them.
Also feed her plain metamucil, which helps to coat the gut.
Other than that, all you can do is keep an eye for symptoms of impaction or any blood.

Her stools have been normal and she's not straining at all when she goes. She has gone more than usual though. She is scheduled to go in to get spayed tomorrow. The vet said if she's not having any problems they're going ahead with it. That seems strange to me. Wouldn't they want to wait just to be on the safe side?

You are the paying customer. YOU can decide to wait.

I'd postpone. For elective surgery, I want perfect health, just perfect, with nothing at all going on. And I don't care if the vet thinks I'm crazy, either. The vet, IMHO, should also want perfect health.
In defense of the vet, it's quite possible that s/he assumes that perfect health is here, and that there is no longer any bone danger, or plans to x-ray.
But I'm with you.
You could say "Let's just wait and be sure" and re-schedule for next week.

The vet did xrays before surgery yesterday and no bone fragments showed up on them. We decided to go ahead with the spay and everything went beautifully! While he was in there he double checked for any bleeding or obstructions and found nothing. Hana is safe at home recouperating. She has a few extra stitches but other than that she is doing great! Thanks for all your advice!
