Frost and I went to the annual Montana Ellis seminar this weekend. I meant to only go for a day but ended up staying up until midnight hanging out with everyone so figured I might as well stay the night and do the seminar the next day as well
Frost had a blast on and off the field. In the evening she spent a couple hours careening around with Michael's dog Pi and a Pi son owned by someone in MT. They definately had a good time. Needless to say she slept good that evening.
I know it has been said a million times on this website but if you have a chance to go to a Michael seminar - go! I think this was my 5th seminar with him and I learn something new everytime. Sometimes I even relearn things he has pointed out to me in the past Going to his seminar is money well spent. I learn more in a couple days with him than I do the rest of the year with other people.
In bitework we were working on Frost's strikes and grips which are not the greatest and we made a lot of progression. It was great to get Frost on a strange field for the first time and have about 20 people hanging out as I train with a small club (6 club members including me) so this was a new experience for her and helped to raise her confidence level.
I put together a short video of photos and video of Michael working her. As you can see in it, he is incrediably threatened by her presence on the field
That little girl is INTENSE!!
A joy to watch, and a pleasure to work with I'm sure, provided you know what you're doing - I personally would NOT like to get in the way of her business end!
