Yes, it is a cute picture. Babies of any sort are cute.
I don't want to rain on anybody's parade, but what irks me is that the un-informed think this is soooo cute and never associate this with a wild animal.
A wolf is a wild animal, just like a tiger or lion.
I've look at this thread several times and didn't want to sound like a jerk and post anything, but, I can't help myself now.
I know that YOU guys all know the difference, but there are many, many people out there that think wolf pups are babies just waiting for the right home.
They are not.
They are wild and with that inherently dangerous.
Bear cubs are cute, too, but just like our human babies that grow up to be teenagers, they are wild.
I'm not positive here, but it appears there is a chance this wolf pup is on a preserve... there is mention of a preserve in the article, and the director is quoted as well.
I sincerely hope that that is the case, at least. I would hate to think that this pup is at someones' house.
When a flower doesn't bloom, you fix the environment in which it grows, not the flower.
I read the article to believe they are on a preserve (or at least strongly affiliated with one) and the wolf would be integrated back out in the wild after it's old enough to defend itself.
