Am I the only one who pukes on how the media is handling this pedophile goof?
I am sorry but 7 American soldiers died in Afghanistan today. Jackson could not stand in the shadow of these American heros. Where are their stories? What about their funerals? Their families?
Shame on the media - shame on them - shame on them -shame on them.
I, for one, totally agree! It makes me sad for our country. Yes, he was a talented musician, but to ignore the true heroes of our nation is truly a tragedy. The media should be ashamed, and also those Americans who mourn a musician more than the veterans who died for our freedom and safety.
PS even though he was acquitted for the pedophile charge, he still paid off a family that accused him of molesting their child! Innocent people do not pay people off!
I think it's funny as hell. Of course, there are some who would say I'm not the most politically correct person they've every met.
But, funny is funny.
I, too, want to puke on the media. Without passing judgement on Jackson's guilt or innocence, I am really put out with the media's handling of the entire situation.
BREAKING NEWS: Michael Jackson is still dead.
Yes, what about our soldiers? Aren't they at least noteworthy? Among other things?

Well, I was with family in New England when the initial news flashes ("died? maybe died?" "ok, yes: died" ..... "oh, wait" ....) appeared, and several were sad (me too) that someone who used her illness and her battle against it (as well as her death) to try to educate others was just about forgotten because of this media circus.
Farrah Fawcett deserved better for her bravery, and CERTAINLY our soldiers did.
Of course I am very sorry that his family is grieving, and sorry for the children. But none of this media stuff helps those children, either. Enough already.
He was a talented individual, but a troubled one also.
My biggest complaint is that a real American Hero ( that's *Hero* with a big "H" ) died the same week - and you barely heard about him. But MJ's death is on 24/7. If that doesn't show the screwed up priorities of the Media, I don't know what does.
So, if I may:
A tribute to Marine Col. Ed McMahon, a *real* American Hero
