not to say doodoo...
I feed my dogs once a day, at night. they usually poo twice a day, one in the morning and one at night. the morning one is usually soft (not diarrhea but stick a bit on grass blades kind of poo) but then the afternoon one (without any other food in between) is rock solid... is it due to the too big quantity of food to digest in one shot that this happens?

Could be. Could also be unbalanced between muscle meat and bone.

Half a tablespoon of C!? Is that the dose on the package?
My first experiment would definitely be to cut out the C for a few days and see what happens. If that was it, then you can add it back in until the poop just starts getting soft, then back off. (Diarrhea from C is the hint that the dog has more than he can use. )

i should write a book on how to be unclear
half a teaspoon. I actually noticed today as i gave a little less THK and the dodo was a little softer but formed...Maybe it's just too much supplement/THK that I'm giving on these days...
What I don't understand is, if some dogs can be given only THK, why are mine still have loose stools when i give too much of it as a supplement (they have been taking it for a solid 6 months)
