i know this has been posted a couple of times but i wanna ask, when it comes to pp,i often see malinois at an early age of 4 months exhibit fight drive and therefore make it easier to find a good pp dog, however in gsd they are rare at that age, which makes me wanna ask opinion of members here, which would you guys prefer for pp more gsd or malinois and why?I have never seen an aggressive pup at that age in any other breed of dog,I am a gsd person though
Fight Drive in a 4 month old pup? From what I understand, 4 mos. is way too young to exhibit true fight drive. Are you sure you're not confusing this with a strong prey drive?
well ,what i meant was gnarling and biting people.i saw it in my own eyes and i know fellow members here at the board has seen such in mals at that age,i just wanna know if its bein nervy or exhibiting good fight drive
I think this is a highly subjective question which everyone has there own preferences. In regards to the fight drive question though: I'd want to know (when I say know I mean experienced myself the ancestors of this dog in fight drive) how this pup responds to it's litter mates.
