Meredith Hamilton Webboard User Reg: 01-25-2009 Posts: 1082 Loc: Columbus, Ohio Offline	Has anyone read Dog On It by Spencer Quinn? http://www.amazon.com/Dog-Chet-Bernie-Mystery-Mysteries/dp/1416585842/ref=ntt_at_ep_dpt_2 I long to talk about this book with people who will understand why the book is so much fun. It's a mystery, PI and partner type, written from Chet the Dog's perspective. I originally thought it would be over the top cute, or too dumb for words, but the author GETS dog-think. Chet's voice is in my head forever, now that I've read this. As an example, Chet had "k-9" (police dog,probably) training, but he didn't graduate due to his leaping ability, and blood, but he can't remember the details. Leerburg book club. Anyone up for it? LOL

I've been waiting forever for something like this! I just picked up a photography book called Dogs yesterday. It's a collection of family photos and amateur dog photos from the early 1900s to the 1950s. It's so incredible, and really cool to see some changes in breed standards. I recommend it if you like photography. It's by Catherine Johnson. http://littlesabledog.wordpress.com/
